Housing Update

Experient, the CHEST 2011 housing bureau for US and Canadian attendees, is no longer booking housing. For new hotel reservations, contact hotels directly or book online through ARES, a CHEST authorized booking agent. Room availability and rates are not guaranteed.

If you have a confirmed hotel reservation, made through Experient, and need to cancel or change your reservation, contact the hotel directly beginning September 29.

International attendees can take advantage of travel packages, available through CHEST International Housing.

After-CHEST postgraduate courses will be held October 28-29. Registrants are responsible for making their own travel and housing arrangements.

Hotel reservations must be made through Experient. An initial deposit will not be charged to your credit card for hotel rooms, except the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. The Hawaii Prince Hotel will charge a deposit of one night’s room rate and tax. Attendees must make reservations by September 19 by 5:00 pm CST, and exhibitors must make reservations by August 29 to receive discounted rates. After making hotel reservations, you will receive an acknowledgment from Experient. If you need a hotel confirmation number, contact your hotel after September 22. Hotel contact information will be on your reservation acknowledgment.

Reservation changes or cancellations must be made in writing to Experient by September 12. After September 22, all reservation changes and cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. New reservations will be subject to space and rate availability.

US and Canada Attendee Housing Policies

• Reservation Cutoff: September 12 (all reservations require a credit card guarantee)
• Reservation Changes: Changes made after September 5, including early departures, that result in a reduction of total room nights stayed will incur a $150 room reduction fee.
• Cancellation/No Show Policy for all hotels, except the Hawaii Prince Hotel: Cancellations received after September 5 or failure to check-in (no show) will result in a $300 cancellation fee. Reservation changes made after September 5, including early departures, that result in a reduction of total room nights stayed will incur a $150 room reduction fee.
• Cancellation/No Show Policy for the Hawaii Prince Hotel: Cancellations received after September 5 and up to 3 days prior to scheduled arrival will result in a $300 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 3 days of scheduled arrival or failure to check-in (no show) will forfeit the original one night’s room and tax deposit PLUS incur a $300 cancellation fee. Reservation changes made after September 5, including early departures, that result in a reduction of total room nights stayed will incur a $150 room reduction fee.
